Visit Palazzo Marchi

The museum itinerary of Palazzo Marchi, the most fascinating eighteenth-century palace in Parma, is ready to welcome visitors to accompany them on a journey into the history and art that made the Bourbon dukedom a cultural beacon of modern Europe.
Inside the rooms, in addition to the splendid ceilings decorated in stucco by Giocondo Albertolli, you will find the collection of works by the family: paintings, furniture, sculptures, table sets, engravings and prints that will tell you about the fervent cultural context promoted by the Academy of Fine Arts of Parma. An institution that in the second half of the eighteenth century, under the guidance of masters such as the architect Ennemond Alexandre Petitot, was one of the greatest forges of Italian artistic talent.
